Matthew Lillard is known for playing a huge role in the 1996 thriller Scream, and he also appeared in The Descendants, the Oscar winning movie. And he is not new to guest appearances, as he has appeared as a guest star on Law & Order: SVU and House.

Also Treat Williams, the star from Everwood is expected to appear on the latest season of Leverage where he will play the role of a ruthless hockey leader. Leverage is expected to return to the TNT screen on Sunday, the 15th of July, as for the date of the episode on which Matthew Lillard will guest star on, it is still unknown.

Reports have it that a particular episode would involve the team setting up a con to get a bill passed in congress on behalf of a female athlete. The con would be set up by the gang ad they will have a particular congressman in mind. The scale of what they want to do seems huge but it is not their success that is the issue here but how they would go about it.

Fans of the show would expect some of the usual stuffs that come with it especially as it relates to the couples like Nate and Sophie with Parker and Hardison. In season 4 of the show Hardison led the team in an episode titled ‘The Gold Job’ that was a unique opportunity for him to be in charge but he really did not do that good a job of it. He seems best as the team’s hacker and this could come in handy with what they plan to do with the politician.

This is not the first time for Treat Williams to guest star on shows, as he has guest started on Law & Order: SVU, Brothers & Sisters and had a role in the cop drama Against the Wall.

If you are trying to find out that are the guest stars then it is Cary Elwes to amaze you. The premier date has been fixed on Sunday, 15th July at 8 pm in TNT. There will be 10 episodes as usual in summer while in winter when it comes to end. It is really hard for the viewers to wait for the whole of the hiatus and then enter in to the next session.

If you look back in the last season, it was quite surprising that rather than shooting down, Nato had taken Latimer and Dubenich out. They had grabbed up their own weapons and just went over the cliff to leave Nate walk away. Nothing went wrong for the Nate and Sophie & Hardison and Parker. The past has not being able to bring changes to the group while later progress was visible with Parker to be the first one.

As “modern-day Howard Hughes”, it will be carry that will be cast in the 5th season. There will be also much more for you to rediscover what you want more from the show. There is a good background of 4 seasons that has made the audiences remain attached to watch full episodes and wait for new facts in the new series.

The start of filming news has been coming through the air but there is certainly a kiss (this claimed in the tweet of Gina Bellman). However, it is she that would be posing for one with Nathan is the main thing that is bringing curious in the audiences’ mind. Nevertheless, in between all this happy stories there was a fight reported by Christian Kane’s tweet. However, what it is actually is to be watched out in this season.

Therefore, will be a part of this scintillating new season of Leverage, season 5 starting in 15th July? Just don’t miss out the fun!

Of course, the same old brining down the bad guys is done by Nate and his team, and this episode’s bad guys was Latimer and Victor, but this episode had more than just brining bad guys down, it was filled with interactions and great moments between the team members while doing their job.

And it very funny and refreshing to see both of Quinn and chaos trying to go along and work as team to bring Chaos down, it really brought memories back especially when Chaos was telling Quinn the way they are planning to hack the computers.

And another thing that grabbed the viewer’s attention is the surprise appearance of Maggie Collins, who is the ex wife of Nate, to speak the truth; it was a great idea not to show anything related to her in the preview, so we can really get surprised but not expecting here to show up, but she did, and while she was sitting near Latimer, I think everyone noticed her reference to Jim Sterling and her feelings towards him.

As to the person who really stole the spotlight of the show was Archie Leach, played by Richard Chamberlain, we all had a great laugh when he tazzered Chaos. And it was really great when parker and Archie had the honest talk about how they approved Hardison.

Another great thing is seeing how Eliot is protecting Nate, and how she cares about anything related to him, for example, while he was trying to convince Nate not to kill Latimer and Victor, it showed how he really cares about Nate.

The episode will feature various old friends and enemies of the team and it looks like this is one of the episodes that fans of the show will greatly enjoy. The press release for the season’s second half has revealed that various characters from the past of the show are to return, and these include Maggie Collins, Archie Leach, Chaos Mason and Mr. Quinn among others. Nate has asked Mark Sheppard’s Sterling to get him some information and one wonders if he will eb able to return with it. However, fans of the show will have to wait for season five before they can get more of Sterling.

The finale of the season promo starts with Nate visiting Dubenich in prison and it is not really good to be in the latter’s shoes at the moment. This is mainly because; since Nate lost his father, he is out for blood and all he wants if to find the man behind it all. However, in order to be able to get the person behind the whole thing, they will need some back up and this is where all the familiar faces from the show’s past come in. However, despite the fact that Chaos and Hardison are set up on their computers side by side, it does not meant that they can stand each other anymore than they could before. Though Dubenich seems to be taking an aim at Nate, maybe he needs to open his eyes wider as more seems to be going on than meets the eye. Nate then asks the question of who would like to go first.

During this episode, we also got to see Jimmy Ford. Though he had been mentioned a couple of times on the show, we had actually only met him once. In this episode, Jimmy comes back and once again works with his son. Jimmy later reveals that he was only doing the job to protect Nate from Latimer, who had threatened to kill him. It was really shocking, especially when the fact that, Jimmy was capable of putting another person’s needs before his own, is considered. It is also shocking to learn that Latimer, who is usually laid back, is capable of making such a threat.

It is later revealed that Victor Dubenich is behind the whole plot to kill the Ford family. Jimmy is also blown up in the warehouse. These events are for the third time in the season giving us a blast into the past. This is especially attributed to the fact that Victor was the very first person to be taken down by Nate and the team. It will be interesting to see what the relationship between Nate and Victor is and what Nate will finally decide to do.

Up to this point, Nate has always been content to leave Latimer alone, given that Latimer’s hijinks have not been affecting him or the team. However, now that Latimer is involved with the death of Nate’s father, he may wish that he had never met Nate Ford. It will be interesting to see how Nate will react, especially after finding out that his father cared about him enough to sacrifice his life. but then again, from the very beginning, Nate has always had father issues.

Though it is every parent’s role to keep his child safe it is surprising to learn that Jimmy Ford had any fatherly instincts and that he was capable of doing anything for his son, Nate. It is hoped that the last message from his father will give Nate some bit of closure. It is also possible that the only thing that will give Nate closure us bringing Victor and Latimer to their knees in the next episode. Overall, the next episode is much awaited for, especially as far as Nate’s reaction is concerned.

Hardison’s ability to convert a con into an action video game was quite admirable. If you are a portal fan, you would have noted that he gave the voice activated computer the name Glados.

Having said that, Leverage is fast becoming the Hardison show and several viewers are increasingly becoming frustrated because of this. Hardison is remarkable as the tech know-how nerd, no doubt about that. But why does he have to play every role in the team, or be given so much screen time?

It is understandable that the team has become closer and people want to stand in when required in other roles, for example when Parker was being tutored by Sophie about grifting. There’s nothing wrong with Eliot teaching Hardison how to protect himself, it was especially useful when some guys jumped him at the frat house.

His wanting to lead a job was proper, naturally in any vocation one would like to grow and develop your talents. But the smug attitude plus the repeated jabs at Nate for the way he operates a con was really maddening.

The conversation Hardison and Nate had towards the conclusion of the installment helped viewers to remember why Nate is the genuine leader. Apart from being humble, he is skilled at encouraging, teaching and even raising his group up when there is need for it. The letter sent to Hardison by Nate with the 3 steps to succeed at the con was invaluable.

On the whole, the episode was quite decent, though the absence of Latimer was very disappointing, coming week viewers will get to see the come back of Nate’s dad (played by Tom Skerritt), who have not been seen for some time now. Fans would definitely like to find out what turmoil he will come with.

David Ogden Stiers’s cast as Walt Whitman Wellsley is simply a great choice. He exudes character and charisma, two refreshing qualities that places him in the spotlight. Nate decides to help him after Wellsley breaks down in a bar. Now that Wellsley owes Nate a favor, he will probably reappear in later episodes. It’s good (and perhaps a little bit ironic) to see Nate and his team help out a billionaire, while they continue to take down the most corrupt and foul.

Hardison, the Internet specialist, and Eliot, the retrieval specialist, have really hit it off after four seasons, and the steak dinner was a clever move for the budding bromance. The dynamic duo remains to be an important part of the team, and their rapport is simply amazing to watch. But who would’ve guessed that Eliot can be such a romantic? He personally ordered flowers for Nate and Sophie without taking any credit for his generosity. Eliot knows how to cook, fight, and taste wine, and that’s enough to win just about anybody’s heart.

The chemistry between Nate and Sophie, however, is not so clear. Her lack of surprise and mediocre facial expression after Nate’s assertive I-picked-you admission made it seem like something was amiss. But then again, this was probably due to the fact that Meredith was watching, even though she couldn’t really hear what was going on. The actors gave it their best, and it is definitely something to watch out for in later episodes. Nate, however, needs to lighten up on his alcoholism. It’s destroying him emotionally, so he should either look into rehab or go cold turkey.

Parker the thief also makes a surprising move when she followed Nate’s instruction to the dot. She may be small, but she can sure pack a punch! She slugged Hardison‘s date right on spot, instigating a one-of-a-kind cat fight that can’t be missed. She is definitely jealous of other women taking an interest in Hardison, but this sends a loud and clear message to the rest of the ladies out there, letting them know that they should think twice before looking for a brawl.

It’s not as if there was ever any doubt as to whether the guys could take care of a task by themselves. Hurley making a sudden appearance was something totally unexpected, considering that he has not been seen since the conclusion of the first season. Seeing a nun that had a gun was also unexpected. The episode really had lots of surprises.

It’s not often that viewers get to view much of Boston, Nate and gang’s place of origin. The nod given the robust Irish community was quite pleasant, as the two assassins were reluctant to enter the church to murder somebody. And it was especially funny listening to the conversation that came after regarding the levels of a church plus which may not be sacred.

It was apparent that Sister Lupe (played by Sofia Pernas) was not actually a nun. Frankly, if that is how most nuns look like and appear in swimming pools in 2-piece bikinis (as revealed by Hurley), then the confessional would be filled with people. How she wound up doing shots on Eliot’s knee was not so clear. When did she and Eliot Meet?

Apparently the story required that Hurley be left single to enable him encounter the cat adoring Peggy leading to a love connection, her being so welcoming so quick appeared rather weird.

Longtime followers of the series may also find it a bit funny recollecting that Hurley was first featured in the first season in The Twelve-Step Job,” which was broadcast the week prior to The Juror no. 6 Job where Peggy was introduced.

It appears Peggy and Hurley were truly meant to be.

Still on Hurley, one of the episode’s best quotes came from him when he let Nate know he wished to show he deserved the second chance given to him by Nate. Like Hardison, it seems Nate fails to remember the wonderful things he has done as well as the number of individuals the group has assisted.

The scene involving Bonanno and Shelly was the one that propelled this installment past the girls. From their starting conversation, to Shelly tutoring him how to stifle-out a person, concluding with Shelly assisting smash the 2 assassins (while consuming Pizza). It simply added that small extra touch that made the whole hour much more exciting.

It’s almost certain that Bonanno will return to the show, viewers can only hope that more of Shelly will be presented.

On the whole, this episode of Leverage was quite pleasant. Perhaps when the next season arrives more returning clients will be presented. Finding out what has happened to the other clients would be splendid. It would be interesting learning how Kaye Lynn has fared with her music career in The Studio Job in the third season.
