Leverage is a drama series which premiered in December 2008 on TNT. The series is produced by Electric Television, a production company of the director and producer Dean Devlin.

Leverage is a show that revolves around the story of five man group who uses their skills to correct the injustices in the corporate world and even in government whose common victims are the common people.

The team consists of a former insurance investigator named Nathan Ford, played by Timothy Hutton. Nathan acts as the modern day Robin Hood who targets the greedy and the corrupt and returns what should have been given to the people. Nathan first decided of becoming a Catholic priest but ended up becoming an insurance investigator. When his son suffered from a fatal sickness, the insurance company IYS refused to pay for his son’s experimental operation. IYS is the same company where Nathan works for as insurance investigator. With no enough money to cover for the operation, his son died. This made Nathan get back to the greedy companies.

Sophie Devereaux, played by Gina Bellman is a British actress who has a taste for the art of theft. She is effortlessly great in shifting from one character to another without the flaw of being caught as not her real identity. She uses different aliases and have not yet revealed her real identity to Nathan.

Alec Hardison, played by Aldis Hodge is the computer geek of the group. Hardison can hack anything as long as it is in electronic form. He is in charge of the team’s electronic gadgets.

Eliot Spencer, played by Christian Kane is a skilled martial artist who is also an expert when it comes to weaponry. He usually protects the team from cons.

Parker on the other hand is the team’s expert thief. Played by Beth Riesgraf, Parker is an expert safe cracker. At a very young age, Parker have received special training form Archie Leech, a known expert thief.
