Nate puts everything on the line for himself and his team when he takes on a case that is connected to his son’s death.
Read the full story »TNT recently informed Leverage fans that the show will not be coming back for a sixth season. Is there is a silver lining in this sad declaration?

Dean Devlin, the show’s creator, saw what was coming and this episode titled The Long Goodbye Job was penned to bring the show to an end in case things turned out this way. The producer must have had prior knowledge of the announcement because Mr. Devlin stated during an interview that he had always anticipated that the series would end this way.
The producer discovered the finest possible method to write a series finale as well as keep the likelihood of a 6th season open.
Because Nate was the central character of the show, it was good that his story was wrapped up. In the last couple of seasons, there had been indications that Parker is developing and it became even more apparent during the previous 3 episodes, however her emergence as the fresh leader is something one could not have imagined.
It was rather disappointing that Sophie’s real name was not disclosed in the finale. When Nate proposed, he did use “Laura” however she did not waste time in reminding him that Laura is not her real name.
Lastly, even though it is saddening that the show will not be renewed, something miraculous might happen in the New Year and another network will pick the show up. The show stands a good chance of getting a new network, considering that it is produced by Devlin’s Electric Entertainment. But if no one picks up the show, viewers can look forward to the producer’s next project.
